To me enable to produce the final picture I used certain tools in photoshop. I created a new adjustment by editng the curves for the colours red, blue and green. I then changed the adjustment layer's blending mode to 'Color' to combine the original pictures luminosity as well as the colour shifts. I finally added a curves adjustment layer and set its blending mode to 'luminosity'. I am happy with my final image I think it has created a retro effect in comparison to the original.
